Travelogue Retrospective

Introduction

So many people have encouraged me to write up my travel experiences. I always wanted to, but have never managed to be able to keep a journal. Anyone who has even glanced at my online Peace Corps journal can tell that I’ve obviously gotten over that (diarrhea of the mouth via a pen, then keyboard and internet)! Finding myself with some free time and the sudden ability to recount my experiences in print, I’ve decided to author a Travelogue Retrospective. So far I’ve jotted down the subjects of several stories I often share or reflect upon. As I’m inspired to, I will write the corresponding stories and slowly build up my travelogue. I’ve noticed whereas some people embellish their stories over time, I tend to drop out facts and tone them down. The result is a shorter but less interesting story. I will try to avoid that, be as accurate as possible, and remember as many relevant details as I included when I first narrated the tales. If anyone remembers certain stories I’ve shared with you that you would recommend me to include, please suggest them. If you remember more details or think I’ve gotten some facts wrong, please let me know.
